"Titanic" - A Model Steam Plant
This is my very own steam plant - It is to be fitted into a 57 inch long boat that I am currently building - as soon as I get some spare time to finish it - !
The plant features:
Modified 21st Century Steam Company "Titanic" steam engine
Coal fired copper boiler - complete with chime whistle - with temporary gas conversion for testing purposes
Crankshaft driven mechanical lubricator (with displacement lubricator backup)
"Southworth" steam pump
Manual & crankshaft driven water pumps.
The plant is very powerful & almost silent when running - even I am impressed with it - !
