Gas Fired Scotch Return Tube Boiler with Southworth steam boiler feed pump.
The boiler plant features a manual hand pump and a "Southworth" Weir type steam powered boiler feed pump, complete with displacement lubricator & regulator, plus condenser/oil trap with inlet for main steam engine. The ceramic burner is a "special" made by maccsteam & steams the boiler very well.
The boiler has twin clack valves, a copper coil superheater & a copper coil feedwater preheater.
I have steamed the plant several times & it performs well, Scotch return tube boilers are quite efficient & make plenty of steam.
The Southworth type steam pump fills the boiler with ease.
