This photograph shows the hatch that covers the radio compartment.
I always make each hatch slightly different to the previous one, in fact most of the boats themselves vary in the construction details.
This feature I feel personalises the boats somewhat as they definitely are not mass-produced items.
The only identical part on every steam launch, is the fibreglass hull on which they are built.
This photograph also shows the current layout of the deck coaming, square, not rounded as on the first two launches that I built.
By making the deck coaming in this way, it looks neater in my opinion.
